After pressing and holding the power button device won’t power on.
The first thing to do is to charge your device. Most times when a device fails to power on it is due to the battery being drained. Try charging your cellphone for 30 minutes or so and try powering it on again. If it still does not power on your battery may be bad and needs to be replaced.
Before going out to buy a new phone, make sure that the charger is functioning. Many times users think the problem is the device when in reality it is possible for chargers to stop working properly. To test your charger, try using a different one and charge the device for about 30 minutes. Try powering on the device again. If the device turns, the original charger is not working properly and must be replaced.
It is possible that your phone is not powering on due to the wall outlet not working properly.Try using a different electric outlet and let your phone charge for about 30 minutes. Try powering it on again. If the device turns on the outlet is not functioning and your device is ok.
It is possible that it appears nothing is happening because the display is bad. One of the ways a display could be damaged is with water. If the display is the problem it needs to be replaced as it cannot be replaced.
If after replacing the battery and/ or display did not resolve the problem it is possible that you have a bad mother board and need to replace it. The motherboard cannot be fixed only replaced.
When pressing a key/button or keys/buttons nothing happens and they feel stuck.
If you press buttons and they feel sunken in or you do not see the keys your are pressing on the screen, your keypad buttons may be broken or dirty and may need to be cleaned or replaced. To find out if this is the issue you may dissemble the phone to examine the keypad. Try cleaning the keypad first using a microfiber cloth and an rubbing isopropyl alcohol wipe and let air dry. Let it air dry and reassemble the device. If the problem persists the keys/ buttons may be damaged and need to be replaced.
Device runs out of battery quickly or has a hard time charging.
If your phone charges and the battery life is shorter than normal and/or your device takes a long time to charge, it is possible that the battery is no longer good and must be replaced.
If that is not the case, the charging port may be loose or detached which is common with this device. Your must purchase a new one and replace it, or re-soldered it if came detached.
When you plug in the headphones in the headphone jack and play music or movies there is no sound coming from them.
First, check to see if the volume is up. If they are and there is still no sound, try using the headphones in a different device. If they are still unable to output sound, they may no longer be functioning. If this is the case try using a different set of headphones and see if this solves the issue. If the problem is still ongoing the headphone jack may be loose or damaged and must be replaced.
Pictures come out blurry, streaky or completely dark when using the front and/or back camera.
With normal day to day use it is very easy for the camera lens to become dirty to the point where it affects the picture quality. Try cleaning the lens using a microfiber cloth and an rubbing isopropyl alcohol wipe.
If cleaning the lens did not solve the problem, it is possible that the front and/or back lens is broken/damaged and it is affecting the quality of your pictures. It may not look broken but even a microscopic crack can affect picture quality. If this is the case you need to replace the lens.
You are not able to use features in your phone and you see this error message.
From regular handling of your device or dropping it the SIM card may become loose. Try to reinsert the SIM card and see if this solves the problem.
If the problem persists, it is possible that the SiM card is no longer working. Contact your service provide so they may provide a new one and try replacing the SIM card.
