What you need

              Battery               
  • Remove the back cover using a plastic opening tool. Insert it into each corner starting at the upper left of the back cover and pushing out.
  • You may also use your finger nail if you do not have a plastic opening tool at hand.

Step 2

  • Using a plastic opening tool, push out the battery by inserting it into the small groove at the top left corner of the battery and pushing out.
  • The battery snaps out of place and you can remove it using your fingers.
  • When you are ready to insert a battery make sure the three copper teeth on the phone are aligned with the 3 copper dents on the battery.

              SIM Card

  • Remove the SIM card by placing your index finger over it and sliding it out.
  • When you are ready to re-insert the SIM card make sure the pink side facing up.

              Keypad               
  • Unscrew the phone casing using a small screw driver. Remove the four screws on each corner on the back of the phone.
  • Screw sizes are 1.42mm in width and 3.37mm in length.

Step 7

  • Remove front casing by sliding a plastic opening tool between the chrome layer and the top cover.

  • The buttons should come off with the front casing but sometimes they don’t. If that is the case simply remove them using your fingers and place them with the front cover.
  • If your keypad buttons are sticky you can clean them in this step.

Step 9

              Headphone Jack               
  • Remove the back casing by taking the motherboard and back casing and pulling them apart.

  • Using a small phillips #00 screw driver remove the three screws on the clear cover.
  • Screw sizes are 1.15mm in width and 1.51mm in length.

Step 11

  • The headphone jack is a square piece at the bottom center of the phone that is sticking out.
  • If it is loose simply remove it.
  • If it is still attached you must remove the headphone jack using the heat pen on your soldering station on top of the headphone jack until it becomes loose.
  • Gently remove the headphone jack using tweezers.
  • At this point you can solder the new headphone jack.

The headphone jack is a square piece at the bottom center of the phone that is sticking out.

If it is loose simply remove it.

If it is still attached you must remove the headphone jack using the heat pen on your soldering station on top of the headphone jack until it becomes loose.

At this point you can solder the new headphone jack.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
