The phone will not hold a charge or is having issues charging.

If the phone only powers up when the charging cable is plugged in and doesn’t hold a charge then try replacing the battery with this guide.

Ensure the charging cable is plugged in to a working outlet and connected properly to the phone. If the phone doesn’t respond by showing that it is actively charging, then consider purchasing a new charging cable.

The memory storage of the SD card is full.

The storage issue might be because it has all been used up. In that case, if possible, try deleting unnecessary files, applications, caches to free up memory storage.

If that is still not enough storage for you, consider purchasing a larger capacity SD card and installing via this guide.

Camera images are distorted, blurry, dark, or discolored.

Try wiping off dust or grime on the outside of the phone and camera lens with a microfiber cloth. If this does not solve the issue, then follow this guide on how to take apart the device to clean the inside of the lens.

The issue might be because of the camera application isn’t functioning properly. Try updating the phone to the most recent software through these steps. From the main screen, tap the “Apps” icon. Slide the screen up to reveal more options and tap the “Settings” icon. Slide the screen up and tap “About phone”. Tap “Software Update”. Tap “Check for Updates”. Your phone will install any available updates, or “Your Software is Up to Date” will display. Tap “OK”.

Restart your phone through these steps. Press and hold the PWR/LOCK key on the top right of the device, and you should be prompted for a choice to “Power off.”, tap it, and then tap “OK.” To turn the phone back on press and hold the PWR/LOCK key until the screen lights up. Try the camera application again.

The issue might have to do with the physical camera device in the phone—it has gotten old and stopped working, or has malfunctioned. Either way, consider replacing the camera with this guide here.

No audio can be heard or the sound is distorted.

To determine which audio source has problems, try plugging a device into the audio jack. If the sound is clear and working, then try using the phone’s speakers. If the speakers sound muffled or is not working, look at the following guide for replacement.

You are trying to use your phone while the screen is powered on, but nothing is responding to touch.

This issue could be related to out-of-date software, or a related problem. Try updating your software to the latest version through these steps. From the main screen, tap the “Apps” icon.
