The ZTE Blade V8 Pro battery does not hold a good charge when compared the phone when it was brand new.

Turn Wi-Fi off when not in use. The ZTE Blade V8 Pro’s battery will drain excessively when the Wi-Fi is on and searching for points of connection.

A factory reset will also help with the longevity of the battery.

Cellphone takes a long time to respond when trying to access the basic functionalities of the device.

Sometimes, slow processing can be a result of too many background applications running and taking up the phone’s processing power. Disable the screen lock cleaning feature. This feature closes all background processes and applications when the phone is locked or screen is turned off.

Stop using the SD card as shared storage. Remove the SD card, clear the phone’s cache, and choose Forget Storage SD. If you need to use an SD card, choose a high-quality one.

  • On the left side of the phone there is a small hole. Get a tool that fits inside of the hole to push the sim and memory card slot out.The SD card is the bigger slot, it is also labeled “SD Only”Remove the SD

The power button won’t respond to being pressed.

Blow the conflicting debris out of the power button with canned air, or another device that will blow hard air into the gaps on the side of the power button.

When the power button gets stuck make sure to check if the border of the button is clean. If not, clean with a Q-Tip or something that is able to get in between the small cracks.

Camera will not focus, with certain lighting.

This device does not have laser or phase detection auto-focus like some higher-end smartphones. During nighttime, it is best to manual focus, however in the day, the light stabilization auto-focus works well.
