Drone has a broken body part that hinders its ability to work properly.

If a propeller arm is broken, try replacing it with the arm replacement guide.

If a propeller is broken, it can be easily replaced with the propeller replacement guide.

If the landing gear is not working properly, refer to the landing gear replacement guide.

If the camera is broken, refer to the C23 camera replacement guide.

If the motor has quit working, refer to the motor replacement guide.

The drone does nothing when the ground station tells it to move. Drone and ground station appear to not be connected.

In a case where the drone is on and the remote is on and they are not connected try to do these simple steps first. Turn off both the ground station and the drone. Once completely powered off, turn both the ground station and drone back on and check for a connection between the two.

Binding is usually done at the factory but in case your drone and ground station become unbinded here are the steps to binding.

Step 1: Turn on the Typhoon H Plus and let it initialize. You will know initialization is complete when the two LED’s on the rear arms blink blue.

Step 2: Flip over the Typhoon H Plus until all LED lights quickly blink yellow. Once the lights are blinking yellow flip the Typhoon H Plus back onto its legs on level ground.

Step 3: Turn on the ST16S ground station and wait a few seconds for the camera to align itself and all systems to connect.

Step 4: On the ST16S ground station tap the settings icon in the top right corner. Then select the network icon that looks like a bar graph that rises to the right. After you select the network icon select Drone.

Step 5: Press the refresh icon then press OK to unbind the RC link. Select the receiver that corresponds with your drone listed in the column and wait until a tip pops up letting you know the binding is completed.

The photos and videos are not showing up on the ST16S ground station.

Try turning the ground station completely off and powering the ground station back on.

Binding the camera and the ground station can be completed by following these steps:

Step 1: Switch on the ST16S ground station on first then turn on the Typhoon H Plus.

Step 2: Select the settings icon in the top right corner followed by the network icon that looks like a bar graph that rises to the right.

Step 3: Type of serial number of the C23 Camera in the window. The serial number is on the side of the camera.

Step 4: Type the password “1234567890” into the pop up window to authorize the camera and then select OK to confirm.

If the camera does not connect within a reasonable amount of time close the pop up window and repeat the steps again.

The battery is not producing power or the battery life is short.

Charger is balancing the cells to charge evenly. This is normal. The charger will flash green when balancing and charging are complete.

Do not attempt further use, as you may risk damage to the drone. Discard the battery immediately and install a new one.

Charge fully, then use until 30% battery life. Cycling the battery a few times in this way calibrates it and improves battery life.

Using the drone until the battery dies degrades battery life. To prevent battery degradation, begin recharging your the drone at approximately 30% battery life.

The battery cell may be too out of balance for the charger. This cell must be charged individually with a universal charger to bring it in line with the other cells.

The camera is not producing a clear image.

Photos taken in video mode load pictures as low quality JPEGs. Set to picture mode when taking pictures. You can set your camera to picture mode by:

Step 1: Tap on “camera” at the bottom right of the ground station display.

Step 2: On the right of the screen, two small icons will appear. Press on the camera icon located under the video icon.

Camera settings are not preset for best quality. To customize your camera settings:

Step 2: Press on the cog at the bottom right of the screen next to “camera”.

Step 3: Select Photo Mode and select dng.

Step 4: Tap on Image Style located under Photo Mode. Select gorgeous.

Adjust the white balance to your preference. On the left of the display, there is a column of options for white balance. Select the optimal one (Cloudy, Sunny, Fluorescent, etc…) based on your current environment.

Higher values of ISO function better when there is less sunlight while lower values of ISO function better with more sunlight. To adjust ISO:

Step 1: On the left of the display, tap on the black and white circle containing a plus and minus sign and is labeled Auto.

Step 2: Select the large red Auto icon at the top left.

Step 3: Press on the large red M icon.

Step 4: Set ISO to 100 or adjust as necessary.

The camera may be defective and needs to be sent back to the manufacturer for inspection.
