I plugged the headset in, but I do not hear sound from one or both of the speakers.
The volume for the headset may be set to the lowest setting. You will hear no sound if the volume setting is at “0”. Turn up the volume by pressing the volume increase button on the right side of the adapter.
The headset adapter allows you to change the balance between the sound you hear from the game and the sound from the chat room you are currently in. If the balance is set to 100% for the game and 0% for the chat, you will only hear audio from the game you are playing and not the chat (and vice versa). You can change the game and chat balance by pressing the buttons on the left side of the adapter.

One person in your chat room may be transmitting his or her feedback problems to the rest of the chat room. Ask the one who is transmitting feedback to check his or her headphones, or mute that person in the chat room menu.
