  • Insert the metal spudger between the foam ear pad and the black plastic speaker cover.

  • Carefully slide the spudger between the ear pad and the speaker cover, along the seam, to remove the adhesive.

  • Be careful not to tear the cloth ear pad cover.
  • Using your fingers, carefully pull the ear pad out from the black cloth cover.
  • When reinserting the foam ear pad, you may want to use a foam-safe adhesive to secure the back side of the foam to the plastic speaker cover.

How do I glue/stick it back? =(

There is actually a much easier way to do this. Hold the ear cup in one hand with the plastic side down. Use your other hand to turn the pad counter clockwise until you hear a click. It should move no more than 1/4 of an inch. Now the two parts are separated and you will have access to the back of the large pad to replace the inner one.
