Reset your device to factory defaults. Take notice that this will revert your device back to when it was first made and shipped to a store. All your data installed after you got the device will be erased.
- Make sure the tablet is OFFPress and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons at the same timeWhen the Android logo starts to flash, release the buttons
Note that this is general instructions for Android devices. If this does not work please check the manufacturers website on how to reset the device to factory defaults.
Most likely, you need to clear the cache for Google Play Services.
- Go to Menu, select SettingsSelect Application Manager, scroll down to Google Play ServicesScroll down and select Clear Cache
Your Auto Rotate screen lock is turned on.
- Go to Menu, select SettingsSelect DisplayCheck the box next to the Auto Rotate Screen
Replace your screen.
- Gather appropriate tools (spudgers, plastic cards, suction cups, something to heat the glue up ex. hair dryer)Heat the edges of the screen evenly, and begin to pry the screen off with a spudger. As a section becomes loose, hold it in place with a plastic card.When the screen is nearly free of the adhesive holding it on, attach the suction cups to the screen and gently lift the screen away from the body of the tablet just enough to see under it.Make note of all attachments to the screen including the LCD cable. Other connections may include the WiFi antenna. Remove all attachments to the old screen.Remove protective film from the new screen and apply adhesive strips to the back.Attach any cables to the back and lightly press the new screen into place.
