Nothing happens when you press Pulse or Start/Stop.

Ensure that the blender is plugged in and the silver dial, also known as the Selector Bezel, located behind the Variable Speed Control Knob, is not in the off position.

If that yields no results, consult the Use and Care Guide or call customer care at 800-222-7820.

Ensure that the power cord is properly connected and that the outlet in use has power.

Check that the fuse and circuit are not blown and the prongs of the power cord are in working condition.

If that yields no results, refer to the Power Cord Replacement Guide

Take off the bottom of the blender as per the Control Board Replacement Guide and inspect the circuit board for loose wires or faulty connections.

You perceive a burning smell to be coming from the blender.

Allow the motor to cool by powering off the blender for several minutes before using it again.

If the smell persists, follow the steps detailed on page 15 of the Use and Care Guide or consider replacing the motor.

The blender works, but does not chop the food finely enough.

Ensure that the selector bezel is set to the correct setting (either smoothie, manual, ice crush, or puree) and that the variable speed control knob is set to the right speed.

When the blender is empty and unplugged, inspect the blades for dullness. If they appear to be dull, follow the Blade Replacement Guide.

Your food does not taste like you expected.

If you are able to narrow down the cause of the off-tasting food to the blender, try cleaning it as per the instructions on page 14 and 15 of the Use and Care Guide or consider replacing the jar and blades.

The display on the screen reads “Err” and the blender does not operate.

As per page 15 of the Use and Care Guide, turn off, then unplug the blender and allow the motor to cool.
