Step 1
Bottom Cover
- Remove the 14 screws securing the bottom case to the laptop.
- Unclip the case by sliding a plastic spudger into the slots in the case.
- Remove the bottom case.

Remove the SSD
- Remove the Phillips screw securing the SSD.
- The SSD board will pop up slightly once the screw is removed. Lift it to relieve any tension and pull it straight out.

Step 3
Battery
- Remove the five Phillips screws securing the battery.
- Unplug the cable connecting the battery to the motherboard.
- Remove the battery.

Step 4
Right Speaker
- Remove the CMOS battery by carefully peeling it off.
- Unscrew the 2 speaker screws.
- Peel off the adhesive strip using an opening pick or spudger.

Step 5
Remove the Speaker
- Disconnect the speaker cable from the motherboard.
- Remove the speaker.

Remove the speaker.
To reassemble your device, follow the instructions in reverse order.
