If the floppy drive door appears stuck, you can try using a small object like a screwdriver to lightly force the door into the closed position. Also, if the door sticks, a precision oilier or lubricator can be purchased to help lubricate the springs on floppy disk drive doors.
If the door appears to be broken or missing, we recommend the drive be replaced with a new drive.
