Introduction

Before ordering a new LED I recommend taking it out and inspecting, this way you can see if its an issue with the refrigerator or the light. Before starting this guide be sure to unplug the refrigerator to turn off power.

What you need

  • Make sure electricity is off, do this by unplugging your refrigerator.

Step 2

  • Detach the front two tabs of the light, using an opening tool on the perimeter of the light where it attaches to the ceiling of the refrigerator.
  • Do this on the back tabs of the light as well.
  • It may take some force but be careful not to break the tabs.

Step 3

  • Disconnect the wire connectors to fully remove light.
  • Gentling unplug both wires, does not matter which one you do first.
  • Once you have them off the LED will be freed.

  • Unbox the new LED light

  • Install the new LED light by putting back the wire connectors.
  • Reattach the corresponding connectors to the LED.

  • Put the LED light back into place.
  • Push the LED light into the position it was before, use needed force.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
