Short for Windows Management Instrumentation, WMI is an API designed by Microsoft that allows the control of systems and devices in a network. Though it has many similar features to Intel’s DMI, WMI utilizes additional Windows features and capabilities.
How to open WmiMgmt
- Click Start.
- Type wmimgmt.msc and press Enter.
