Vegas Pro is video editing software, sold by MAGIX Software, and originally developed by Sonic Foundry. In 2003, it was purchased by Sony, who rebranded the Vegas series of products as “Sony Vegas.” In 2016, Vegas was purchased by MAGIX, and rebranded to its original title, Vegas Pro.
