Short for Page Up key, the PGUP, PU, PgUp, or Pg Up key is a computer keyboard key found between the keyboard and the numeric pad or on the numeric pad number 9 key.

When this key is pressed, if the page currently being viewed has more than one page, the page moves (scrolls) up one page. For example, you can scroll down this web page and then press Pg Up to scroll back up.

How to use the Pg Up key on the numeric keypad

For the number 9 to work as a page up key, instead of typing out the number 9, turn the Num Lock off.

Apple computer keyboards do not have a Page Up key on the numeric keypad.
