Founded in 1999, the Linux Terminal Server Project, also known as LTSP, is a group that designs the hardware and software of a thin client that runs Linux. LTSP machines are an open-source terminal solution that provides computer access to many people at a low cost.
Today, LTSP machines are used all over the world. They are primarily utilized by educational and community organizations that benefit from their low cost, easier maintenance and small footprint.
