Short for secure login, slogin is a Linux and Unix secure shell SSH (secure shell) remote login program. For slogin to work, you must log into a machine that supports a secure login. Often a computer or Internet service provider has multiple login addresses. For example, telnet.computerhope.com could be a non-secure telnet login and shell.computerhope.com could be the secure login compatible with slogin.
