A SCART (Syndicat des Constructeurs d’Appareils Radiorcepteurs et Tlviseurs) is a 21-pin connector capable of carrying audio, video, or other signals. It is sometimes called a Euroconnector or Peritel.

It is important to realize that not all SCART connectors are the same, some may only be capable of carrying specific signals. If you are having difficulties with video or sound while using a SCART, make sure the SCART connection supports all the signals you need.
