Originally named Fluster, Ruffle is a flash player emulator written in Rust that began development in 2016. Ruffle is an open-source project compatible with all major browsers using WebAssembly. As a user, you can use Ruffle in any of the following ways.
- Install the browser extension in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
- Run the Flash content through the desktop application.
- Connect your website to the Ruffle CDN using a single line of JavaScript.
