The reliability of something describes the degree that something can be trusted and is dependable. For example, a reliable computer would not crash, reboot, or give you errors that interrupt your work or cause you grief. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a 100% reliable computer or service that relies on computers, which is why companies relying on computers may provide an uptime guarantee.
