Pwd may refer to any of the following:

  1. Short for print working directory, pwd is a Linux, Unix, and FTP command to print the directory you’re currently working in when at the command line.

  2. Pwd is an abbreviation sometimes used for password. To help prevent confusion, we suggest writing out the word “password” instead of using an abbreviation.
