Panic may also be a system command or button used to cause the system to crash to produce a core dump for error diagnostics.
In general, panic describes the anxiety or fear a person may feel that could cause a bad reaction or decision. For example, someone may get a phishing e-mail indicating that their bank account has had $100 withdrawn and click a link without thinking it’s a scam.
