Initially released in 2014, OnePlus is a series of Android-based smartphones developed by OnePlus. The phones are marketed as “flagship killers.” They boast comparable or better specifications than the most prestigious smartphones, such as the iPhone, Pixel, and Galaxy S, but at a lower cost. OnePlus phones run on OxygenOS, a version of the Android operating system developed by OnePlus.
OnePlus “T” phones refer to a midrange, slightly downgraded phone from the original, and “Pro” phones refer to a higher-end, flagship version of the original. Starting with the OnePlus 9 series, the camera module is produced by the Swedish camera company Hasselblad.
