CapTherm Systems, which developed liquid cooling systems for CPUs, has introduced a multiphase cooling solution called the MP1120. The metal base that sits on the CPU for heat transfer is constructed of a trimetal material (aluminum, stainless steel and copper), that is welded using C-4 explosives. The MP1120 features a radiator and 140mm fan, and a window that allows the user to view the system in action.
The CapTherm Systems company later went out of business and MP1120 never succeeded.
