In computer gaming, magic or mana is an attribute of certain classes (e.g., healer or mage) that gives them the ability to cast magic abilities. For example, a player may have 100 mana and a spell that takes 10 mana. Casting that spell would subtract 10 mana from the mana bar (often a blue bar).

Depending on the game, the mana bar may slowly regenerate over time or may only regenerate when the player rests or drinks. In online games, a player with mana may say OOM (out of mana) when they no longer have mana. Mentioning your mana status is especially important for a healer since they cannot heal other players unless they have mana.
