Linpus Linux is a Linux variant based on Fedora, created by the Taiwanese company Linpus Technologies, Inc. It is designed to for Asian users, with full Unicode support for Japanese and Chinese languages.
A special version for netbooks and other low-cost hardware called Linpus Lite comes pre-installed on some computers. For instance, Acer has offered Linpus preinstalled on some of its Aspire netbooks. Another special version called Linpus Media Center is specifically designed for audio and video playback.
