Kiosk mode is an administrative feature included in operating systems, such as Windows and Android. The feature ensures only one program, as specified by the administrator, can run on the device. Kiosk mode may be utilized for a hands-on demonstration of a program, or on a device for conducting business using POS (point-of-sale) software.
