It is a free-to-use and open-source alternative to the industry standard software, Adobe Illustrator. Inkscape features include path creation and alteration, stroke styles, gradients, and support for Adobe AI files and SVG vector graphic files. Inkscape also supports standard image files, including JPG and PNG for rotoscoping.
