Go may refer to any of the following:

  1. Go means to run, continue, or proceed with the operation currently being performed. A good example of where go was used with computers, is in early versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer. After an address was typed in, a user can click the go button to open the entered address. All recent versions of Internet Explorer and other browsers no longer have a bo button.

  2. Go also refers to golang, a computer programming language developed by Google.
