GarageBand is music production software created by Apple. It was initially released in 2004 as part of iLife. It’s an entry-level digital audio production suite made for new users and experienced professionals alike. It features a multitrack mixer and sequencer, and a library of preset synths and percussion loops to get you started. Audio digitizers, such as a digital piano or a microphone, are easy to set up as inputs to your music project.

Garageband is a default application on macOS. The iOS version is available on the app store. It is not available for Android, Linux, or Windows.
