Sometimes called mail bomb, an e-mail bomb is where a user or group of users send massive amounts of e-mail to specific person or system. This large influx of messages can fill up the recipients allotted disk space or even crash and e-mail server. Mail bombs are usually sent as a response to spam or a breach in netiquette.
