DMTF (Distributed Management Task Force) is an organization founded in 1992 that helps in the development of standards for distributed desktop, network enterprise, and Internet environments.

DTMF has over 160 member companies and organizations with more than 4,000 active participants. Companies include Cisco, Citrix, Dell, Fujitsu, Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi, Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, and VMware.
