Dif may refer to any of the following:
Short for Directory Interchange Format, DIF is a de facto standard used to create directory entries that describe a group of data.
Dif may be used as casual shorthand for “difficult” or “different.” It should not be confused with diff, a computer term that describes the calculated differences between two or more documents.
