Design may refer to any of the following:

  1. Design in graphics refers to the planning and layout of elements in an image, illustration, or video with the aid of specialized software, like Adobe Photoshop. Designed graphics can be created from scratch or modified existing images.

  2. A design for a product is a sketch, prototype or layout from which products are fabricated. For example, specific patterns and sizing to design clothing, blankets or other fabric-related products.

  3. In Microsoft PowerPoint, Design is a tab in the Ribbon that gives the user the ability to customize the slide.
