Delpart is an external command file that was only included with Microsoft Windows 3.1 resource kit. This command deletes partition information including NTFS partitions. Delpart.exe was available in the Windows NT 3.1 Resource kit directly from Microsoft.

When you run this file, it extracts all the files within it to the directory it is located. Don’t run this file from your desktop; copy the file into an empty folder before executing the file. Once extracted, you can copy the delpart.exe file to a bootable diskette or CD and use it to delete partition information.
