CPU-Z is a freeware utility from CPUID that detects information about your computer processor, motherboard, memory, and graphics card. The software provides an in-depth report of the specifications and performance of your computer’s hardware. The following image shows CPU details in the CPU-Z program.

Submitting system specifications

Users can submit their system specifications and performance results to the CPU-Z database online. Uploading the results file, which utilizes the .cvf file extension, to CPU-Z allows users to compare their computer’s performance against that of other computers. CPU-Z also uses the information to create a Hall of Fame for the fastest and best-performing computers.
