Confluence is collaboration software created by Atlassian. It was first released in 2004.
Confluence provides a centralized “knowledge management” system, similar to a traditional wiki. Unlike most wikis, Confluence has advanced search capabilities and integration with other important collaboration tools, including issue tracking and revision control. Confluence can be operated on an intranet, or used as a cloud service.
